How to Use

The right way.
Every time.

Five products, five surfaces, five different applications. Here's exactly how to use each one — and how often.

01
No. 01 — Club Protectant
After every round
No. 01

Club
Protectant

Single-use. Covers all 14 clubs. Apply post-round, wipe clean before play.
The only club protectant formulated around USGA Rule 4.1a(3).

1
Brush the grooves. Use the included detail brush to clear debris, grass, and sand from the club face grooves before applying.
2
Open the applicator. Twist the screw cap — the precision tip applies directly to the face. No pumping, no spraying. Controlled application.
3
Apply to club face and sole. Work across each club's face and sole. One bottle covers all 14 clubs — use it fully in a single session for best results.
4
Let it sit — 5 minutes. The formula bonds directly to the metal. Don't wipe yet. This is where the protection happens.
5
Wipe clean with the microfiber towel. The face should be completely residue-free. Nothing between the club and the ball.
6
Before your next round. Give each face one final wipe before you tee off. Confirms zero residue. USGA compliant, every time.
Important
No. 01 is a single-use product — once opened, use the full bottle across all 14 clubs in one session. The formula is calibrated to treat a full set. Don't save half a bottle for next week.

No. 02 — Fabric Cleaner + Re-proofer
Monthly · After wet rounds
No. 02

Fabric Cleaner
+ Re-proofer

Cleans and restores the water-repellent finish your bag loses round by round. PFAS-free — the hardest formulation in the kit to get right.

1
Empty the bag. Remove all clubs, accessories, and items from every pocket. Give it room to breathe.
2
Dry-brush first. Use the detail brush to remove loose dirt, grass, and debris from the exterior — especially around pocket zippers and seams.
3
Apply No. 02 to the microfiber towel. Don't apply directly to the bag. Work section by section — main body, pockets, straps, and strap webbing.
4
Work the zippers. Run a damp section of the towel along each zipper track. Zipper failure is almost always debris buildup — this prevents it.
5
Allow to cure. Leave the bag open overnight before reloading. The DWR re-proofer needs to set before it performs. Don't rush this step.
Tip
Do this the evening after a wet round, not the morning before the next one. The overnight cure time is non-negotiable for the re-proofing to hold.
03
No. 03 — Leather Cleaner + Conditioner
Every 3–5 rounds
No. 03

Headcover
Cleaner

pH neutral. Safe for leather, knit wool, and synthetic materials. Lifts oils and course debris without compromising texture or colour integrity.

1
Remove headcovers from the clubs. Lay them flat on a clean surface. Don't stack — you want to see what you're working with.
2
Apply No. 03 to the microfiber towel. Not directly to the headcover. A little goes a long way — start conservatively.
3
Work in gentle circular motions. For leather: light pressure only. For knit: follow the knit pattern. For synthetics: circular is fine.
4
Stubborn spots: apply directly and dwell. Apply a small amount of No. 03 to the stain, let it sit 2 minutes, then lift with a clean section of towel.
5
Air dry fully. Do not replace on clubs until completely dry — moisture trapped inside headcovers promotes corrosion on the hosel.
Leather headcovers
Never scrub leather aggressively. No. 03 is pH neutral specifically so it won't strip natural oils from the hide. Light pressure and patience get better results than force.
04
No. 04 — Shoe Cleaner + Protectant
After every round
No. 04

Shoe Cleaner
+ Protectant

Deep-cleans spikes and uppers. Protects against moisture, UV fade, and grass staining. Safe for all spike systems and hardware.

1
Clear the spikes first. Knock off large debris by clapping the soles together. Then use the detail brush to clear turf, sand, and mud from individual spike plates.
2
Apply No. 04 to the uppers. Use the flip-top cap to apply directly to the shoe upper. Work section by section — toe, sides, heel, tongue.
3
Brush with the detail brush. On heavily soiled areas, work the formula in with the detail brush before wiping. The mechanical action breaks up embedded grass staining.
4
Wipe down with the microfiber towel. Remove the lifted debris and product. Use the coarser side first, then the finer side for a final wipe.
5
Apply a light second coat as protectant. A thin second application — wiped in and left to set — provides the moisture and UV barrier. Don't over-apply.
6
Allow to dry before storing. Never bag damp shoes. Dry them at room temperature, not with direct heat — heat degrades the adhesives in premium golf footwear.
Tip
Shoes left in the trunk overnight are the single fastest way to age premium golf footwear. Clean and store them at room temperature after every round — No. 04 takes less than five minutes.
05
No. 05 — Grip Cleaner + Conditioner
After every round
No. 05

Grip Cleaner
+ Conditioner

Restores surface tack and removes accumulated oils, sweat, and debris. The most neglected surface in the bag — and the one that most directly affects swing mechanics.

1
Pump No. 05 onto the microfiber towel. Two pumps per grip is right for regular maintenance. Don't apply directly to the grip — the towel controls the amount.
2
Wipe each grip from butt end to ferrule. Firm pressure. One continuous motion. You're lifting oils and debris from the surface compound, not just cleaning the outside.
3
Cord grips: use the detail brush. Work No. 05 into the cord texture with the brush before wiping. Cord grips accumulate debris deep in the weave that a towel alone won't reach.
4
Wipe dry with a clean section of towel. Remove all product residue. The grip should feel tacky — not wet, not slick.
5
Air dry 30 minutes before bagging. Let the conditioner fully set before the grips are enclosed. Rushing this step leaves a residue that transfers to gloves.
Why this matters
As grip tack degrades, players unconsciously increase grip pressure to compensate — disrupting swing mechanics without realising it. A well-maintained grip is a swing thought you never have to have.
